Finding Nemo 3D
One Friday afternoon, Kate and I took Nate and Jackson to see Finding Nemo in 3D. It was Jackson's first time at the movies. Nate is a seasoned pro! After all, he is that third kid :)

Raingutter Regatta
In Cub Scouts, each boy gets the chance to "race" a sailboat in a raingutter. It's a matter of pure luck and strategy. Sam's boat performed well. Most of all, he had FUN!

Little Kickers Soccer
Nate is learning how to play soccer this Fall! He attends a Soccer-nastics class every Saturday for an hour. He LOVES it and we've enjoyed watching him!

Hurricane Isaac
Not long after we got into the routine of school, Hurricane Isaac hit. We took advantage of the days off to play some card games and take naps. The kids all slept in our room the night the storm hit. Here are a few pictures from those few days.
Luckily, we didn't have any damage and things resumed back to normal soon after Isaac left.

First days of School - 2012
This school year brought a lot of changes. Caroline went to Middle School. Another change this year is that the big kids were going to ride the bus to and from school.
Caroline started off her 6th Grade school year bright and early!
Samuel started Third Grade. He is all by himself this year at the elementary school.
He was sad the first few days without Caroline with him, but he soon adjusted.
Nate and I waved good-bye as he rode away.
After the big kids were in school a few weeks, Nate FINALLY started at his new school.
This year, he is at St. Andrew's Methodist Preschool.

Apple Camp
The last week of July, Caroline and Sam attended a Mini-Movie Camp at the Apple store in Baton Rouge. They filmed some scenes, learned how to create music in GarageBand, and then insert and edit footage in iMovie. They learned some invaluable information and had FUN, too!

Vera Bradley SURPRISE!
At the end of June, Caroline and I entered a drawing at Sanctuary Gifts to win the new bedding being introduced by Vera Bradley. Caroline was in LOVE with the new Paisley Meets Plaid color. She had even asked us to buy it for her for her birthday. We told her we'd think about it since it was quite expensive.
All that was for naught because on the morning of July 20th, I got a phone call that we had won the drawing for the bedding! The boys and I ran over to Sanctuary Gifts and picked it up. We raced home, put it on her bed, and then picked her up from Dance Camp. When she got home, she was so excited to see it on her bed!!

It's Tough to be #3!
Nate will sleep anywhere. Poor baby gets toted everywhere with Caroline & Sam's activities.
One night, I caught him falling asleep while eating a bowl of pretzels. I couldn't resist recording a video!
