Nate's Baptism - A big day

Today, September 19, Nathaniel Joseph Babin was baptized at our church. It was a beautiful ceremony and we were so blessed to have friends and family come witness it with us.
Nate did great during the ceremony and we are so proud of him.

Last night, we went out to eat to celebrate his special day. Only in our family would he eat his Baptism cake in his LSU jersey, hee hee hee.

Thank you, Nici and Max. You are the bestest Godparents that three kids could ever have!

Special pictures

Nate is being baptized on September 19. We took the kids out to take some pictures for a special present for his Godparents. Now that the present has been gifted, here are a few of the pictures...

Nate and I are now going to school on Tuesday and Thursday. I am teaching 3 year olds at The Vine - the preschool/MDO where Sam went. Nate is in the toddler class and is really liking it!
Here's his first day picture!

Nate and his cars

Nate LOVES to play with anything with wheels. Good thing we have a zillion of them from Sam! We have to take at least 2 cars with us if we leave the house. The end table is now his "racetrack" and he always has cars on it. He plays so well independently with them that I can't complain!

American Girl Store Dallas

Caroline and I and our friends, Christi and Charlotte went to Dallas. We had one mission in mind. We were headed to the American Girl Store! The girls had a GREAT time. We walked one end of that store to the other. The girls got to have their dolls' hair done at the hair salon. We went to the Bistro and ate a very mediocre lunch for way too much money, and we shopped! Caroline picked out a new outfit for Chrissa and also picked out some glasses for her doll to match herself. It was a ton of fun. I think one of the highlights of the trip was ordering room service breakfast on Saturday. This is the first time she has ever had room service and she just thought that was the coolest thing! Her Great Grandmother (my Memom) would have been so proud and would have eaten Caroline up with all these girly things!
